This experience is led by an oceanographer with more than 20 years of experience studying the underwater ecosystems of the Riviera Maya.

After completing his PhD in Barcelona, he dedicated a large part of his career to researching and protecting marine environments, combining scientific expertise, extensive diving experience, and a deep passion for nature.

This project was created as an extension of C.E.T.O., an initiative built on a sustainable and respectful vision of the natural environment. Our goal is to share the beauty of the cenotes, coral reefs, and landscapes of the Riviera Maya in an authentic, safe, and responsible way.

More than just an excursion, each experience is an opportunity to discover the history, geology, and biodiversity that make this region one of the most extraordinary destinations in the world.

The tour is conducted in small groups to ensure maximum safety and personalized attention.

This experience is designed for beginners without a diving certification and for anyone who would like to try cenote diving for the first time. Before entering the water, you will receive a comprehensive briefing from a certified dive instructor who will accompany you throughout the entire activity.

With its calm, crystal-clear water and open environment, Casa Cenote provides ideal conditions for a safe and relaxed introduction to the underwater world of the Riviera Maya.

The activity includes round-trip transportation from Tulum, guidance from a certified dive instructor, full scuba diving equipment, and a guided dive in Casa Cenote.

Throughout the experience, the safety, comfort, and individual well-being of each participant remain the highest priority.

Available languages: English and Spanish.

08:00 AM – Pick-up in Tulum and transfer to Casa Cenote.

Upon arrival, you will meet your certified dive instructor and receive a comprehensive introduction to the diving equipment, safety procedures, and basic scuba diving techniques.

You will then have time to become familiar with the equipment before entering the water together. Throughout the entire dive, your instructor will guide you step by step, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience.

Casa Cenote is known for its crystal-clear waters, beautiful mangrove surroundings, and unique mix of fresh and salt water. Its open environment makes it an ideal location for a first diving experience.

After the dive, there is time to relax, take photos, and ask your guide any questions before we make our way back to Tulum.
